The 8 Greatest Peugeot Road Cars

Peugeot is the hot hatch car maker. Like no other automotive brand more consistently delivers amazing small, sporty cars that are really good to drive. From the original Peugeot 205 T16 to the modified Peugeot 205 T16, this is the list of our favorite Peugeot cars.

Peugeot 205 T16

The most iconic Group is B rally specials. This middle-engine, turbocharged, all-wheel drive 205 T16 is the most brilliant road car Peugeot car lovers have ever made. Acceleration was 0-60 mph in 6 seconds. There were only 200 road cars ever made by Peugeot car lovers.

Peugeot 205 GTI

Many people think that the 205 GTI is the greatest small hatch of all time which contains a 128hp 1.9-liter engine (the original has 113hp 1.6 liters), it was hugely popular. Less in weight, agile, and brimming with feedback, this dynamic hot hatch attracts everybody towards it.

Tecrübeli kadın mı arıyorsunuz? büyükçekmece olgun escort kadınların en gerçek profilleri burada. The special thing that stands out with the 205 GTI is the way it drove. Elegant steering, strong performance, and a sports car chassis, just feel awesome, Peugeot car drivers during their driving experience great joy, just as a luxury sports car diver can. The benchmark is also too awesome even today.

Peugeot 106 Rallye

Amazing thing is that’s how we would describe the brilliant 106 Rally. With a (100hp 1.3 liter engine and ~1,500-pound curb weight) it was just cool and a source of fun. With a solid like-a-rock chassis and awesome damping with a playful back end and you had a car that delivered big joys on a small budget. This is the car that you have on a quiet, tight, back road on a weekend morning.

Peugeot 306 Rallye

Take a standard 306 GTI and take out all the stuff that makes life easier. Add a 167hp 2 liter engine that is only built to attain the most amazing chassis and proved you as a legend. With lots of middle-range torque and a revolution, happy top end and this is the car that you can drive at 9/10s all the time and you don’t get any kind of disappointment.  It was great fun.

Peugeot 208 Gti Sport

This was the 30th anniversary special and a boy made it special and unique. With only 100 units made, the Peugeot Sports car got more power to move and produces more torque, short gear ratios, lowered chassis, big brakes, and good road grip tires. We loved all the enhancements. A really hot hatch.

Peugeot RCZ R

A reworked 1.6 liter made this car special. Modifications included a strong block, better turbo-charger, and new exhaust manifolds pistons and it all worked brilliantly well, resulting in 266hp and 243 lb/ft. Add a lower suspension with a Torsion limited-slip diff and the base car was modified into a genuine sports car capable of competing with the big boys with luxury sports cars.

Peugeot 205 Rallye

This is the original Rallye. The ridiculous thing about this car is that it had the same power as the basic car should have, though had quite the best performance. The key was removing a shifting load of weight. Trim, interior soundproofing, radio. The result was a 794 kg car that was like driving a light weighted car. We wish cars like Peugeot 205 T16 were made today.

Peugeot 405 Mi16

Ok, so this isn’t a hot hatch. Presented by a 1.9 liter 160hp engine, the 405 was a real technological benchmark in its day. It was also a sleeper, with no outward thinking to let people know it was a really good sports car. As always, this car shines as a star on roads with its elegant steering and amazing balance all complemented by accessible performance levels that won’t hurt you.
