1- Taj Mahal

2- The Agra fort

During the Mughal Empire, this enormous edifice was largely construct for military purposes. The construction, which was originally a brick fort, was reconstructed under King Akbar’s reign and completed in 1573. When Shah Jahan (Akbar’s grandson) came to power, he replaced some of the fort’s sandstone structures with marble surrounds, giving the fort a palace-like look. The marble work is reminiscent of Shah Jahan’s Taj Mahal, which he built in honour of his wife, Mumtaz. Shah Jahan was imprisoned within the fort during the reign of Aurangzeb. 3- Fatehpur Sikri

During the time of the Mughal Empire, the emperor Akbar constructed Fatehpur Sikri as the capital city. Due to a lack of water, the city’s residents abandoned it after 15 years. What a horrible way to bring the city’s operations to a close.The city has an intriguing backstory. It was constructed to commemorate the saint Salim Chishti.
